Adventure Biking Kids Camp postponed to 2026

The kids have so much fun at camp they talk about it all year!  We have so many activities planned they don't get board. 

Here are a couple things about Matt and Angela.  

Matt is a 4th grade teacher.  He knows kids!  He has been teaching for over 20 years. 

He has a knack for helping kids understand how things work and how to get stuff done. In his 20s he worked for a day camp and loved playing with the kids outdoors.  

Angela was a teacher before kids and worked at a summer camp in Lake Forest, IL for 5 years in the 90’s and early 2000’s.  Somehow she fell into the roll of mountain bike lead and would take a dozen kids on rides on the Des Plains River trail for hours every day.  (that’s how her mountain bike passion began). She was a counselor to the 6th grade girls and helped the camp design their arts and crafts curriculum.  

We will have each day scheduled to maximize fun.  Although we hope for no rain those days sometimes happen and we may have to play in the rain so be sure to check the weather as we get closer.  We will be. 

Both Angela & Matt are certified to coach through the BICP and NICA.

Your kids can expect to go mountain biking right here on our "mountains", swim at the beach (weather permitting), make crafts, hike and explore the woods, play games, learn about mountain biking, maintenance, and trail etiquette, and maybe even help clean up the trails a little bit.  These kids' bike lessons are open to northern Illinois & southern Wisconsin including, Salem, Kenosha & Antioch.
